PREAMBLE
Credit crunch of 2008 has instantaneously changed the business world. At the moment business is only probing new priorities in the economy. However, the key point is obvious right now: the global reorganization of ineffective companies is coming up along with the growth of interest in real economic sectors and, first of all, in the “new” national markets: Russia, China and India.
Among the mainstream trends it is worth noting that the focus on the consumer services sector (retail, HoReCa) is strengthening. At the same time, apparent growth of food consumption globally, even at the background of financial problems, still remains a favorable ground for building up the role of farming and farm products processing. Both trends, without any doubt, are positive for the Russian business. Implications for the national markets here are hard to overestimate.
Whatever the changes in the financial architecture are, they can not stop one more trend: a shift of business communications into the «on-line» world. Printed media are no loner capable to keep pace with the data exchange rate and interactivity required now. Electronic data channels and face-to-face communication at summits and forums have become the new leaders of the new epoch. It is particularly true for the world of swift economic changes. Moreover, the crisis binds the market players (delegates) to limit their choice in favor of the largest business platforms.
